Qiyu (George) Meng is a photographer and an MFA student at Rochester Institute of Technology. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years in China and has come to the U.S. to further his studies since high school.

Meng works with analog and digital cameras to produce photographic prints that incorporate various printmaking methods. He uses photography as a medium to build bridges and to seek truth. Concerned with identities and belonging, Meng intends to bring people together on both local and global scales by telling the stories of others and offering multiple perspectives.
